2017 “Swing Fore A Cause” Golf Tournament

Each year, supporters of “Swing Fore A Cause” Golf Benefit Tournament come together for a first class event to celebrate, network and raise funds for ROFI.  This year’s event took place on October 23 at Sta. Elena Golf  Club and raised 1 million pesos.

The tournament is organized by Rayomar Outreach Foundation, Inc. (ROFI). 123 golfers, the highest attendance by far, registered before the 8 a.m. shotgun start. Each of the 34 teams played 18 holes, spread out over two courses.

Following the tournament, buffet lunch was served while Serendipity band played good music; raffle and awards ceremony took place at the Hacienda Lounge.

This tournament brings together Rayomar executives and their partners and friends for a day of fun while raising money to benefit the community in which we all work and live. The board and staff of ROFI are grateful to our generous sponsors, donors, players, and the volunteers for making this event a huge success. This event would not be possible without the tireless efforts and the organizing of the volunteers to prepare in the weeks and months leading up to the event.

Proceeds from the tournament will support the following programs:

  • Educational needs of college scholars in Metro Manila
  • Medical and dental missions in depressed communities
  • Reading enhancement kits (ALPABASA) for kindergarten and Grade 1 pupils in public schools
  • Disaster relief program

Once again, Rayomar volunteers came together and demonstrated that WE DELIVER is a motto that extends far beyond the projects and tasks we complete for clients but it is also a part of WHAT WE DO IN OUR COMMUNITIES.
